Shipping policy

We ship live plants within Canada only. The full details, with photos of how we pack, are on our shipping page.

When we ship

Orders are dispatched every Monday, so nothing sits in a depot over a weekend. Order by Friday night to make that Monday's dispatch. Upcoming dates are listed on our shipment dates page. Tracking is emailed when your order ships.

What shipping costs

We ship using express and priority courier services. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and the size of the order. Most orders land between $15 and $30, and you'll always see the exact cost before you pay.

How plants are packed

All plants ship bare-root, wrapped in damp paper towel, bagged and labelled.

Winter shipping

We recommend adding a heat pack to your order from October to April when temperatures are near 0°C, or closer to 5°C for small, delicate butterworts. We track the forecast along your route and may delay a shipment a week if a hard freeze is expected. Orders sent in cold weather without a heat pack aren't covered by the live arrival guarantee.

Live arrival guarantee

If a plant arrives dead or badly damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and we'll make it right with a replacement or store credit. See our refund policy for details.
