MaxSea is a concentrated, kelp-based fertilizer (16-16-16) with a complete blend of nutrients for healthy growth.

Gentle and versatile, it works beautifully as a foliar spray and is a favourite among carnivorous plant growers. Please note: the photo shows the brand we use for reference only. You'll receive a measured portion, not the whole bottle.

How to use: mix ¼ teaspoon (about 1.2 g) into 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water, or ⅛ teaspoon into 2 L for a smaller batch. Lightly mist the leaves once a month and keep it off the soil. Some plants, like South African sundews and butterworts, are more sensitive to foliar feeding, so start with a weaker mix and build up gradually.

Common questions

If yours isn't here, ask the growers.

How is it packed and when does it ship?

Orders leave the nursery every Monday. Plants are packed in damp paper towel and bagged to retain humidity. Order by Friday night to guarantee a spot on Monday's dispatch.

What if it arrives damaged or dead?

Send clear, well-lit photos within 24 hours of delivery and we'll review the issue. We'll provide a replacement or store credit where covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Some leaf yellowing, browning or die-back after shipping is normal.

Can I add something to an order I've already placed?

Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped. Reply to your order confirmation email with what you'd like to add, and we'll update the order and email you a secure link to pay the difference.
