Professional Grade Peat and Perlite Mix
Our in-house Professional Grade Peat and Perlite Mix is low in nutrients, lets air reach the roots and stays evenly damp. It's the mix we use for Venus flytraps, North American pitcher plants, bladderworts, carnivorous bromeliads and most sundews.
How to use: the mix arrives dry, so add water until it's thoroughly saturated but not overly wet and leave it 10 to 15 minutes to expand, then fill your pot. Inside is professional-grade perlite and horticultural-grade milled Canadian sphagnum peat, hand-measured with a full scoop and sealed in a resealable waterproof bag.

How is it packed and when does it ship?
Orders leave the nursery every Monday. Plants are packed in damp paper towel and bagged to retain humidity. Order by Friday night to guarantee a spot on Monday's dispatch.
What if it arrives damaged or dead?
Send clear, well-lit photos within 24 hours of delivery and we'll review the issue. We'll provide a replacement or store credit where covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Some leaf yellowing, browning or die-back after shipping is normal.
