Osmocote Plus Pellet Fertilizer for Carnivorous Plants
Osmocote Plus is a slow-release fertilizer relied on by thousands of carnivorous plant growers and large-scale nurseries in Canada and the US.
It couldn't be simpler: drop a single pellet into a pitcher and it slowly feeds the plant. Experienced growers can also attempt light root fertilization. Growers use it for faster growth, bigger leaves and larger, more colourful pitchers, especially on Nepenthes. Please note: the first photo shows the brand we use for reference only. You'll receive a measured portion, not the whole bottle.
How we use it: most of our Nepenthes, Sarracenia, Cephalotus and Heliamphora get 1–2 pellets every few months, and the results have been phenomenal. Don't be tempted to add more, as too much fertilizer will burn the plant.
Safety: wear gloves and eye protection when handling the pellets, and avoid breathing any dust. If it touches your skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, rinse the mouth with water and seek immediate medical attention. If inhaled, move to fresh air and see a doctor if symptoms develop.

How is it packed and when does it ship?
Orders leave the nursery every Monday. Plants are packed in damp paper towel and bagged to retain humidity. Order by Friday night to guarantee a spot on Monday's dispatch.
What if it arrives damaged or dead?
Send clear, well-lit photos within 24 hours of delivery and we'll review the issue. We'll provide a replacement or store credit where covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Some leaf yellowing, browning or die-back after shipping is normal.
Can I add something to an order I've already placed?
Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped. Reply to your order confirmation email with what you'd like to add, and we'll update the order and email you a secure link to pay the difference.
