Utricularia longifolia, the long-leafed bladderwort, gets its common name from its long lance shaped leaves that can grow over 10 centimeters in length. This is an easy to care for and incredibly adaptive species capable of growing terrestrially, epiphytically and even semi-aquatically. This species develops large, showy purple flowers as well as large bladder traps that will often grow out the bottom of pots.
